Fatty alcohol ethoxylates are available under the Galaxy MW series of products which are non-ionic surface active agents derived from natural fatty alcohols. These nonionics are applied in a wide variety of applications and their function is strongly dependent on the chemical composition. The choice of nonionic for a specific application is primarily determined by the Hydrophilic/Lipophilic Balance (HLB). The HLB value dictates properties such as emulsification power, detergency, foaming, solubilisation and others.
ALKYL BENZENE SULPHONIC ACIDS (LABSA)
These are water soluble surfactants having excellent foaming power and detergency properties. They can be used in all liquid detergents such as Laundry gel, Dish washing liquid, Car shampoos, Carpet shampoos, etc.
